No one loves a good story more than a bard. Perhaps that is why so often simply reporting the facts as they happened isn't exactly the easiest things do for most in my one profession. Embellishing simple stories with grand happenings and speculating on the very words uttered by persons long dead is at the heart and soul of making stories enjoyable to the common folk.

Here you will find the popular version of some of the history of our land. While all of these tales are to some extent based on fact and even verifiable sources and historical documents, take them with a grain of salt. There is also much here that has been embellished or extrapolated from the truth.

As I too like a good story, I won't spoil it for you, dearest reader, and reveal which parts are truth and which are fictional. Isn't it so much better just to believe that it's all true?
